Local seafood suppliers are returning to a major Spanish Seafood Show.
Island Seafare will once again be showcasing the Isle of Man’s amazing shellfish to the Spanish market at The International Frozen Seafood Exhibition, Conxemar, from the 1 – 3 October 2024.
Every year, the Spanish Association of Wholesalers, Importers, Manufacturers and Exporters of Fish products and Aquaculture (Conxemar) organises the exhibition, which takes place in Vigo, an important fishing port in Europe.
It serves as the meeting point for the entire processing sector, distributors, importers, and exporters of frozen seafood products.
The exhibition not only supports those in the seafood industry, it also encourages and advocates sustainability in the sector, promoting the transition towards responsible food systems. This year’s exhibition theme is ‘Responsibility for the Future’.
Local seafood supplier, Island Seafare, proudly holds the longest continuous presence of any exhibitors to have been at the show, with their attendance going back to 1998.
The Galician market is a key market for Island Seafare to promote many of our UNESCO Biosphere Reserve’s unique products, including crab, king scallops, whelks, and of course the word famous Isle of Man Queenies.
You can find Island Seafare on stand 1B02.
